Melissa Jones, Ph.D. – Personal Sexuality Education Consultant

Melissa Jones is a trained, clinical sexologist specializing in personally helping her clients improve their relationships by enhancing their sexuality and overcoming intimacy challenges.

Born and raised in Provo, Utah, she is the oldest child in a family of multi-generational Mormons. During her undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University, she pursued marriage and family studies and ended up with both, then obtained a doctorate in sociology with an emphasis in sexology. She and her husband have been married for twenty years and are the parents of three children.

Dr. Jones is an active professional member of the American Counseling Association, the International Coach Federation, the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), and is board certified by the American College of Sexologists.

She has an active sexology practice in San Antonio, Texas, where she conducts workshops and assists women and couples at her medical-center office.
